Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that offers lightweight durability and great maneuverability. The compact fold that can be folded with just one hand makes it easy to move. It also stands on its own when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a near-flat position and there's a giant storage bin and canopy. Baby-friendly? Yes and with a carrycot.
A good suspension and air-filled tires can help you to navigate the rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging, although you should wait until your baby is six or nine months old before doing this.
Ickle Bubba Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a brilliant choice for parents who want an easy-to-use buggy that has enhanced features. It is a travel system, which includes a lie-flat carrycot suitable for newborns, a multi-position forward and rear facing pushchair seat and a selection of a group 0+ car seats, so you can have everything you need in one place.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to understand why it's earned the highest praise from its customers. It's incredibly light - both the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg - and it's also easy to put together. In fact, I was able to put it up and running in less than five minutes, which is amazing considering that it also included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!
It has a comfortable wide, comfortable seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is simple to use. There's a good amount of room in the basket too and I am awestruck by the fact that it comes with a zip-up pocket in the handle bar so that you can keep your keys and phone safe!
The handlebar is low, which can be a problem for parents who are taller. It's covered in soft, supple leather-like material, which is easy to wipe down.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for active parents who can't wait to go outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on forest and field trails. The front wheel can be locked and can be swiveled to allow for greater flexibility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness and front bar to keep your little one safe throughout your journey while the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving even when you take a break. The comfortable seat is simple to lower to a lying position, and the canopy can be opened to allow netting for optimum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.
The Runner will accompany you on your next adventure, whether it's a quick walk, a longer hike or a long-distance trek. It features a completely flat lay-flat seat with suspension air wheels for smooth and comfortable riding. The front wheel is lockable for greater stability on narrow streets and overcrowded sidewalks and the stroller folds up easily to fit in car boots and storage spaces.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally, the locking system (requiring two buttons either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebar is a little higher than some competitors which means it might not be suitable for parents with shorter arms but overall, it's an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller worth considering for active families.
Red Kite Push Me moving
Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the budget-friendly British brand. They are well-known for their simple, well-designed products that are essentials for parents. It's the latest and most expensive addition to their bargain lightweight stroller line. It as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable so you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some amazing design features, including the rose gold hue to the chassis, hood and stroller trims, which truly distinguish it from its competition. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics on the stroller and the car seat are super stylish and there is an option to add a co-ordinating leather handle for the cover and bumper bar, too.
It is suitable from birth up to a maximum weight of 22kg and the stroller seat easily converts from the carrycot to an reversible 2-in-1 mode that can be parent or world-facing. The stroller seat has multiple lie-back positions, soft padded legs rests, and an extendable sun canopy with concealed zip sections, a viewing see-through flap, and a retractable visor.
When folded, the Pace measures 56 33cm x 43cm x 32cm which is perfect for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also easy to fold down, using two buttons on either side of the handlebar which just click in and out. Then, it will pop up.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate, all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis features a shorter wheel width which makes it easier to maneuver than its predecessor. I tested it alongside my two kids - a toddler and an eight-week old - across rocky pavements along woodland paths, grassy trails and even cobblestones.
The large puncture-proof wheels, which measure 22cm or 30cm in size they can be used on different terrains. The wheels come with a flap that can be closed or opened to let air in when required. It's a little larger than most pushchairs, yet it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you are pushing it over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric for the seat can be machine washed and the faux leather frame and grips are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than many pushchairs and I felt confident using it in busy city streets. It has integrated accessory points so you can attach footmuffs and parasols as well as changing bags or snack trays, and even snack tray. You can also use the hood to block out rain and wind, but it isn't particularly waterproof. It's a single stroller, but you can attach their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child more leg room. The bassinet took around 20 minutes to put together, and it took the same amount of time to transform it into a seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
If you're looking forward to an early morning run in the cool air or a moonlit stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a memorable one. This all-terrain stroller is designed to keep both you and your child active.
The large, foam-filled 12" and 16 "tires provide a smooth ride no matter the terrain. The patented suspension system enables you to effortlessly glide across woodland paths while minimizing the impact on your child's rear and legs. The performance disc handbrake allows you to quickly stop, even when jogging on the downhill slope.
From bustling market stalls to street musicians singing, the Ridge navigates all your city's most popular scenes effortlessly. The large basket can accommodate everything you need and market purchases, while the huge canopy provides protection from the sun and wind. The canopy's large front unzips to reveal two mesh peekaboo windows that allow you to observe your baby's surroundings.
3 wheel pushchair allows you to choose whether your child faces you, or the world in front. The simple foot brake system makes it easy for parents who are just starting out. The reversible handlebar on the back is a great feature that allows you to adjust it to your height. And unlike other strollers that jog the Ridge folds solid and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core

The new iCandy pushchair is packed with features that will be awe-inspiring to parents. It comes with a multi-mode wheelbase and an LED Visibility Hub light that is a first in the industry. It has a built-in Ride-on Board that saves on future costs and allows tired toddlers to accompany their parents when they go on excursions.
The Core is available as either a travel system or single seat. It is compatible with the most popular car seats, including the ones from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It is the largest seat unit in the iCandy line, meaning you can use it for your baby's first years and beyond. It's a beautifully designed pushchair, and it is made of premium knitted fabric. The handlebar that parents can adjust and the child's detachable bumper bar are made from soft leatherette, while the folding calf support folds away and is super comfortable for children.
It was impressive how easily it collapsed and folded, even with the seat unit attached. It's also easily tucked away in your boot and hallway which makes it ideal for travel. The iCandy Core comes with lots of extra accessories, including a colour matching changing rucksack and footmuff/liner.
